The Cross River Rail station going in is 27 metres underground with a 220 metre platform, the Princess Alexandra Hospital on Ipswich Road is midway through a $350 million vertical expansion, and the Fiveways still funnels Main Street, Stanley Street, Stanley Street East, Logan Road and Ipswich Road into one intersection. At the last census count more than half the homes in Woolloongabba were apartments.
