Partner program FAQs
No. The partner program is free - no signup fee, no monthly fee, no lock-in. You only benefit when we do (when your client becomes a paying tenant who stays past month 1).
When do I get paid?You're paid the $100 gift card once your referred client has paid their second month in full. We email a card.gift digital gift card to the email you registered with - usable online or in-store anywhere Visa/Mastercard is accepted.
How do I refer a client?Tell them about Storage Land, then ask them to type your canonical partner reference (example: "XYZ Realty - Jen") at signup on storageland.au/locations, or mention your business name when calling Jason on 0452 043 647. Easiest is to hand them a partner flyer - ask us for a stack.
Can I refer multiple clients?Yes - no cap. Every separate new tenant you send us who pays month 2 earns another $100 gift card. Good fit for high-volume referrers like removalists, real estate agents and trades.
Is an ABN required?No. ABN is optional but strongly preferred - it lets us confirm you as a genuine trading business and process gift card payments cleanly. If you don't have one yet, you can still register and send referrals.
Can I refer myself or my own business?No. Self-referrals are not allowed. The referrer and the referred tenant must be genuinely separate businesses or people - not the same person operating under different names, not shared household, not related billing details. We check.
What if my client leaves before month 2?The gift card only triggers once month 2 is paid in full. That protects both sides - we don't pay out on accounts that churn in week 1, and you only send us clients with a genuine storage need.
Do my clients get anything?Yes. Every client who signs up via a registered partner automatically gets $100 off their second month - applied to the month 2 invoice, no code required. It's a sweetener that makes your recommendation easier to accept.
Partner program terms
- Program is open to genuine trading businesses operating in Brisbane and South East Queensland.
- Self-referrals are not permitted. The referrer and the referred tenant must be separate, unrelated parties - different billing addresses, phone numbers and identities.
- ABN is optional but preferred. If supplied, it should be a registered active ABN held for at least 12 months.
- The referred tenant must pay month 1 in full at standard rates, then pay month 2 in full (after the $100 credit is applied), before the partner gift card is issued.
- $100 credit applies to the month 2 invoice only. Credit is not cash-redeemable and is not transferable to other accounts.
- One $100 digital gift card is issued per unique successful referral. Referrals are tagged to one partner only - whoever the tenant names first at signup.
- Gift cards are digital, delivered via email by card.gift, usable anywhere Visa/Mastercard is accepted.
- Storage Land reserves the right to refuse payout and decline enrolment in cases of suspected fraud, collusion or abuse of the program.
- Program terms may change with 14 days notice via this page. Pending referrals continue under the terms in place at the time of signup.
